Public transportation in The Netherlands and connections from Germany and Belgium

On this page you find all the options to travel in The Netherlands from Eindhoven to the Summer Camp location. And to Eindhoven and all the international connections from Germany and Belgium to The Netherlands.

Domestic transport

Airport (and connections to train stations)
The biggest airport is Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. There are direct train connections to Eindhoven Train station (runs every 30 minutes).

Eindhoven Airport is close to Eindhoven train station. Take line 400 or 401 (runs every 10-15 minutes) to Eindhoven train station.

The Hague/Rotterdam Airport has a bus service to Rotterdam train station. Take bus line 50 or 33 (runs every 15 minutes) to Rotterdam train station and from there you get the train to Eindhoven train station

Maastricht/Aachen Airports has a bus service to Sittard train station. Take bus line 30 (runs every 30 minutes) to Eindhoven train station from there you get the train to Eindhoven train station

Train station
The closest transfer hub is Eindhoven Train station. Trains go regularly arriving from different directions at Eindhoven Train station such as the main cities like Amsterdam / Amsterdam Airport (runs every 10 minutes), Utrecht, The Hague and Rotterdam (every 30 minutes).

It takes about an hour and a half from Amsterdam Central Station to Eindhoven Train Station. You get train tickets at the Yellow-blue vending machines (also available in English language).

Train stations in the bigger cities of the Netherlands have direct connections to Eindhoven (without changing trains). Check on the website for the Dutch Railways (https://www.ns.nl/)

Bus to Summercamp location
From Eindhoven train station there goes every 10-20 minutes a local bus to the Summercamp location. Take line 19 (to Bladel/Eersel) 319 (to Reusel bus station). Get off the bus stop ‘Veldhoven Turfweg’. If you are not sure ask the bus driver to drop yourself off at ‘the Buitenjan in Veldhoven’.

Bus on day of Departure
On the day of departure we have provide a drop off service to Eindhoven Airport and a drop off service before 08.00 am in the morning to Eindhoven train station. Because the first public transport bus leaves at Sunday 8.48 am near our accommodation.

Domestic Public transportation card: OV Chipcard
For all domestic train and local bus transport requires the OV-Chip card. Please read here how to obtain such card and how to use it to check in and check out.

Trains Germany
Direct trains are running from the German border cities to train stations in the Netherlands. From those train stations it is easy to travel to Eindhoven train station. Check the German Railways website for prices and connections: bahn.de or the Dutch Railways NS.nl
